Holy Gothic

No cast yet but i did get most of the staples out today.

I just noticed you took those photos right in the ER - that's kind of awesome hardcore right there. How many nurses did you score?

My bride took the pics, then she started feeling a little green and had to leave.

There was a guy on the local 4x4 board who liked to post ER pics of his (many, many) various injuries. He was kind of nuts. The last thread of his I opened had photos of the remnants of his thumb after getting it caught in a sheet-metal brake. I stopped opening his threads after that.

I went in to see the surgeon Wed. took some x rays and long story short is i need more surgery.
So back under Thur. for round two.
s***!

I think i will be riding a lot less on the road in the years to come so i have decided to get something a bit more nimble.
I am thinking of getting a BMW450X

my first bike (03 kawasaki ZX6R) i was hit buy a guy in a yukon, broke my wrist lots of road rash all ovr my body ect. sound like you got it worse than i did as most of mine was severe road rash and only 1 broken bone. I was doin 55mph when i hit the ground with no gear my bike was ripped to peices and case busted open.

my second bike (06 GSXR 750) i was doin 65mph down the freeway, i got cut off by a car it was around 50-55*F out and my super s***ty bridgestone tires wernt warm yet (they never really stuck well even on 90*f day total crap tires) i gave it to much front brake and locked up the front tire and slid down the freeway, bike apparently flipped and bonced on front tire cracking the frame 1/4" straight up and down the factory weld, this time i only got a minor scratch and had my gear on.

my third bike was a harley dyna wide glide, i traded it for my BJ42. :meh:

glad your still ok man.

here is a pic of a tat on my leg (or what is left) after the road rash healed. it was full color and all that jazz...

Holy #$%^!

Wow...my bro had the same thing happen to him oh his goldwing...some old lady pulled off the side of the road and then pulled an enexpected u-turn right in front of him. That was enough for him...now he rides the RM Z450 on the dirt only.

Glad you are able to tell the tale...

Hope you heal up quick...

ouch that looks painfull . i put my rd350 down at about 100kms/hr in a high side once , i broke my elbow but there wasn't a scratch or bruise on me i even rode the bike home .
