Shock damage…😐

Crawled under the cruiser checking on some things… saw this. Rock damage? Either way it sucks.

Same thing on the other side, rock guards probably a good idea…😂

If I'm not mistaken, that's a twin tube shock. To @bhsdriller point, it may very well continue to work without issue if the inner tube where the plunger is located is not impacted.

A monotube however can't take licks like that.
 
I was feeling a slight bump* hiccup* when rocking front to back when stopping then starting, maybe related?
 
Definitely need some shock guards.
 
I’m ganna replace the two rear damaged shocks and get some guards for sure. But before that I’m ganna jump the railroad tracks by my house and see what’s up lol … jk.

Most likely a decent size rock thrown up by the tires, but I highly doubt it will cause any performance issues. I would run it exactly as it is personally, but if you jump the railroad tracks please be sure to get video and share it here :)
