I figure that title might get some attention.............. anyway, I’m working on a project 40 , a 77, that I brought home last week, actually it came with Virginia plates from Purcellville! The previous owner planned to run a V8 and auto trans and removed the engine mounts from the frame. I need all four mounts, these are the ones that are riveted to the frame and support the front engine mounts and bellhousing side mounts. Does anyone have a frame or know anyone who has a frame from which they could remove these mounts for me? Not sure if mounts for an earlier F-equipped truck would be the same for the 2F I’ll be using. Let me know if you can help. Thanks, Gary
Body assembled in garage April 2014.webp

There is some interesting Fab work on there, especially the bumper/skid plate. Looks like a new Sag steering set up as well. I'm not positive, but we may have some rear (i believe) motor mounts in a box of raffle truck parts. I'll have a look next time I'm at the truck.

Yeah the workmanship on the truck is excellent. A lot of the mechanical parts were bought awhile back from land cruiser Connection, like the lift springs, ARB lockers and new gearsets. and the truck itself was at a shop in Maryland. The owner from VA ran out of money and had thre MD shop sell the truck to pay his bill there. The guy I bought it from had it two and a half years and did nothing with it. The truck occupied one half of his two bay garage and he rented a storage stall for the parts, paid rent for that time for storing the parts! He was as glad to get out of it as I was to take over the project. I'm making new front and rear bumpers for it out of mechanical tubing.

Let me be clear that the engine mounts I need are not the pieces that bolt to the engine or the side of the bellhousing- I need the pieces that get riveted to the inside of the frame rails. I may have found a set here in PA but don't have verification of that yet. If you have anything let me know. Thanks, Gary

Gary,
I have a 78 frame you need them. I haven't laid eyes on it for some time but the front half of the frame was in very good condition.
