97 FZJ80 - Is the shifter indicator supposed to be illuminated?, the part on the tranny hump not in the gauge cluster, that looks like;

..... also on a side note, should the rear defrost button be illuminated when not pushed and orange indicator light on, and lastly does the drivers side window switch light up too? I have checked the FSM and my supplemental pricing book but cant find bubs or LEDs for any of these, thanks in advance.

No on the floor shifter
not sure on the of rear defroster
yes on the window switch

Yes, definitely on the shifter
Yes, on the defroster switch
Yes, but only the driver's window button is lighted.

In over 100k miles of driving I don't ever remember noticing the floor shifter light before. But it's there.
