Found a cool little set up on fleabay for a reasonable price. Its a shark amp/speaker set, 600w, sd bluetooth usb compatible, waterproof ect.

Dont want a head unit or a huge cheezeball amp in my van so this looks like a decent alternative. Id mount the amp in either the centre console or glove box and speakers on the roll cage. Has a wired remote as well as a wireless so controlling the unit wouldnt be a hassle.

Anyone have any opinions or suggestions before I order? Any advice is appreciated.

Thats the thing, I dont really listen to the radio and Ill have other options to charge a phone. Planning on loading up an sd card or two full of tunes and using that. I like the whole remote idea too, can mount all the other stuff so its invisible, well except the speakers.

That looks cool ... If you get it, post pix of the set up.

D, don't know if you recall this build ... pretty sweet 40 pick-up truck ... he has a motorcycle radio in it ... he installed it in the ashtray so people couldn't see it and steal it ... I thought it was pretty cool ... not sure about cost or availability, but it is a motorcycle radio ... post #31

No dont remember that one..

I kinda just stumbled onto these while wasting time on ebay a couple days ago. Mind you I know nothing about stereos and am not into that big bass sound, I just wanna have the misfits or somethin playing in the background while Im bootin around. I really enjoy havin tunes while wheelin too but not too loud you know. My needs are kind of basic.

Ordered it up so ill post a review of some sort eventually.
