Shall I swap the 1hdt

Just bought a 105 with a swapped 1hz for a 1hdt. Here’s the dilemma. Shall I keep it and intercool it, swap it for a 1hdft, or swap it for a 1fz?

I’m new to diesel so I am still starting to get used to it. I just can’t get over the fumes and sluggish performance on the highway

Is diesel not my thing or shall I stick to it and make the best out of it?

I’m planning to keep it as on offroad rig, but that involves travelling thousands of km till I go overlanding.

And I’ve noticed that it eats diesel at 7km a liter which is way less than expected.

Please sort it out for me

You know Diesel got more power than gasoline? IF it is doing 7 Km per Liter, then with gasoline, it will do less.

Diesel got more power and torque, and ideal for off roading and overlanding.

Make sure you get good diesel from a reputed station, as many developing countries mix kerosene with diesel. Pure diesel should be colorless and have a very faint odor. Empty your tank to reserve and then fill with 100% diesel from Shell/Total.

Is swapping to a 1hdft worth it as opposed to intercooling the 1hdt?
