SFWDA 3rd QTR Meeting and Trail Ride Sept 8

There will be a meeting sat morning about 9 AM followed by a ride in coppingers cove in the afternoon. Me and a few of Scenic City 4x4s members who are hosting the event cut a few new trails that should keep everyone interested, as well as a very famous old trail that hasn’t been ridden by anyone in almost 15 years. What is it? You’ll just have to show up and find out.

I felt the need to chime in late.. I saw this post earlier in the week, and I've been sulking ever since. My absolute favorite place in TN, a STLCA meeting (would be my first), and secret trails - wow.

I'll be at a birthday party for my son tomorrow - but I'm hoping for updates to the thread and maybe an encore trip down the road!

And Roger, I still have a set of 80 springs if you need them.

It was a great ride. Scenic City guys went in a couple weeks ago with chain saws and open up the the lower half of Booger Hill. It is a steep hill and it rained the first half of the day The smallest truck in the group had 37's with most 40+. Only one truck made it without pulling a cable.
They are talking about a work weekend to cut out the top half, told them to let's us know when and we might be able to help.

Yes I still need the 80 springs. Could you bring them to Andy's BDay ride?

We just went up to look at the area where they want to run the rock race. Wayne tried a stupid ledge, then we watched Wayne replace a Dana 60 rear axle, then we went to the cove trails.
