Join us for our September meeting!

We meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 7 PM.

So our September Meeting will take place on September 19th.

7 PM

We will meet at Damon's place of employment:

It is a pretty good location; central to all, right off of I-25 and Hwy 34 (the Loveland- Greeley exit). It is at Alliance Construction, at 2725 Rocky Mountain Ave, Suite 100. Two ways to get here: 1) From north - Take exit 259 (Crossroads Blvd), then head west, past Hooters and the power company. The road curves to the south. Go over the railroad tracks. The office is the first 4 story brick/glass building on your right, due straight west of the dog track. 2) - From south - Take exit 257 (Hwy 34), and head west, like you're going to the outlet mall. Turn at the first light by the outlet mall/Target/fast food stuff. Go straight through two roundabouts. The office is on the left, just after you pass the new Hospital on your right. It is 4 story glass/brick. Come to the far north side. Hope to see you all here.

I won't be able to make this one - the :princess: and I have birthing classes! :bounce: :bounce2:

Not sure - lets get some input from James and or Ige.

We have some big things to cover at this next meeting, including voting on the club logo. James, is yours ready to rock?

Just a reminder...

We need to have a club logo in to TLCA, and we need to get to work in the community promoting our new club. Thus the need for a logo.

At least month's meeting, we set a deadline of the Sept meeting for adopting our logo.

So be prepared! Get your logo ready and show up at the meeting to vote!

I have had one individual ask about emailing me their logo - still looking for it. PM me if you need my email again.

Just a reminder, I will be absent from the Sept meeting. Frank will preside.

Lets get our logo locked and loaded.

Thanks!

It was odd. It has lots of areas that were fine (like the bottom) clean steel, but the sides were caked with what looked like rust. I pulled the float and looked at it and it has a 1/16 of an inch of rust all over it. Pretty nasty but I think it will clean up nice.

In the glove box there was a sheet of all the maitence done to the pig. Back in 94 or 95 it said that there had been tank repair and there was a receipt. I noticed that there were some booger welds on it but it looked okay. The only thing that ticked me off was that the crossmember that goes under the tank and holds up the spare tire had obvsouly been in talled backwards. So the holes didn't line up but the "mechanic" just forced them in and striped 2 of the 4 bolts. So now I need to go get 2 new ones.

So I guess this adds to the theory that you should keep your tank full?

Was this Pig in CO its whole life?

Did you take any pics of the inside of the tank?

Hey, this reminds me, did you leave the 3FE Pig full of gas?

Sounds cool, can't wait to see this Pig!

It was originally purchased here in Colorado in 76 and then moved out to Nebraska in 92ish and back here around 99ish. It only was driven once or twice a year while in Nebraska as it was stictly a hunting vehicle. Then when he drove it back here he let it sit. And now we have red gas.

No I didn't take any pictures as I took the take out at 8:30 last night and was high from fumes and fell asleep pretty quick.

I'm not sure on the 3FE??? I had filled up at mile 1 of Wyoming and made it to mile marker 137. I was figuring 200 to 250 miles per tank....23.8 gallon tank so I would guess that there is a little less than half a tank of fuel in there. Give or take a couple of gallons.

I cant wait to start driving it. :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:
