Patineto
"Clueless" fourwheel rabbit
In my infinity and absentminded at the Pick and Pull, I grab this connector from a mercedes wagon (badges all gone, no idea of the model)
From what I have gather the bottom/base is model specific and the top changes depending on application and car model number.
For sure it has a lot of permutations..
In any case I need to run a bunch of light on my new land cruiser, Five Aux plus the standard and I'm hoping this one will do the trick, the problem is I have no freaking idea what wire does what..
list of lights.
Bumper.
Borg Wagner H4 capable AUX lights (Thanks Steve Glenn for this marvels) Never even found another set (Used) and new they where like $800, brilliant light pattern and the remote was wonderful but obviously fried in the rain.
On the other side of the Grill..
Ridgid Cubes, one set of floods, one of spots (filter just for fun, no idea what effect they produce..
I got them for a song, actually trade same Makita drills for them, apparently they are really good lights.
Roof platform.
Hella 3000 55Watt HID bulbs, paint pealing capabilities, Off road only for sure..
36" dual row flood/spot amazon light (I wish it was bigger but at the time I got it the plans where different (to install on my MOAB rack with bicycle stems)
Roof platform back side
El Cheppo LED square lights "Reverse" lights, well more like "Work lights" (Key off) mounted on a 3 axis Gimble" (my first motorcycle product from 1997) at the very outside corner of the 80-20 platform.
As always to advance for the time or in other words I suck at reading the market "Needs" but I just refuse to design for the "Minimum common denominator", the coextruded carbon tubes dampen vibration and in the case of a really horrible crash they Pulverize them self..
If the fall is not so horrible, the just slide on the mounts, 6mm allen and you are back in business, never a bend front sub frame like with most of the other ones.
Basically I don't WANT the "CHallenger " Cockpit, I need a single knob to control everything, from ALL LIGHTS ON, to all Floods or spots, to each On at the time.
Is this the right thing to do it with.. Please don't tell me a panel the size of a B52.
Wire diagrams will be great, a guide for dummies to use my FLuke and test what those what even better..
