Seems slow...?

Suddenly, in the last hour, it's much faster. I am not a computer geek, but what ever happened is much better. I have all my ads turned off and running chrome on Windows 7. I hope it lasts.
 
There are STILL a lot of back end things being run as part of the install... As noted numerous times, expect ups and downs for a while
 
I've noticed that scrolling thru photos with the popup tool is painfully slow.
 
I hang around several discussion forums of various types.

Mud was, and with this new version, is still the slowest damn forum I've ever seen.
 
Nearly unusable today. My last post took several minutes to happen, and I couldn't tell what was happening and nearly double posted.

Not sure but it appears to be a CDN or ad server hang.

Not complaining, just trying to help with data.
 
We've been running a TON of update scripts this morning (I've been at it since 3am or so)...updated Youtube code, re-indexed search, adjusted a handful of other things..."guessing" those are the issue...

BUT...the cdn and server are both Softlayer...perhaps there is an issue with their datacenter...I've also been making updates to the test-site and another site, all on this same server.

Thanks for the report..."should" be done for a bit...tho messing with sitemaps is on the list too....
 
I almost posted yesterday too, because it was nearly unusable. WAAAAAAY faster today. Could be my connection, which is slightly better, but not that much better.
 
Made some early morning adjustments...glad they worked :-)
