Had a pretty good turnout on our Sedona adventure. A couple nice FJ's, Chevy P/U, Warnglers, and even a Liberty. Nobody broke anything :)

Ran Soldier Pass, then ran Broken Arrow (along with the 2 dozen Pink Jeep tours!)

Thanks all who showed up, and really to (Bill?) in the big blue FJ for being the shuttle driver for Dan and his boy from Canada! :D

Nice pics!

Sorry I missed out...a little, well......a lot too much partying for Cinco de Mayo for me for a next day run. :(

Great pics, I love sedona for that, but I hate the pinky jeeps:lol: and all the tourist. The steps @ broken arrow look like they have been filled in:( here is a pic when I did it last spring!!

yeah, that's kinda how I remember them. But, still plenty rough enough! I was talking to a Ranger at Soldier Pass, and she said that the Pinker company had taken over maintance of Broken Arrow. Just hope that doesn't mean they'll eventualy figure out a way to close it to 'non-paying' toruists!

I suppose I don't mind the Pinks too much - remember, for some of those tourists, this might be the first time ever seeing a dirt road! (kinda sad, actualy)

Sorry for being a little late in responding.

I want to thank everyone who showed up on the May 6 run in Sedona. The Governor (my 4 year old) & I (the weird Canadian dude) had a blast. Was kinda disappointed that I didn't see any 40's, 80's or 100's. Nice to see a couple of FJ Cruisers though.

And I did get to see and drive Garie @ Cruiserland's 'slightly' modded 80 when I dropped by his place. If he wasn't looking - I would have drove it all the way back to Canada. That's my type of rig.

Thanks to Mike for allowing me to ride (and drive) with him in his FJ Cruiser and for Karl in arranging the whole day.

I will be back in Arizona and will bug everyone again soon.

Dan

FYI - my wedding went very well. I think I'll buy my sweetie an 80 for our first anniversary.

Dan it was good to meet you and your fearless litttle future wheeler. Glad the wedding went well. He's a couple of pix of Dan in action doing a little spotting for the FJC's.

I just couldn't help myself

Hey everyone. It's your northernmost AZ wannabe resident just dropping a line.

To those of who remember - I'm the Canadian guy who got married in Sedona last year & went wheelin' with a few of you.

I offered for someone to adopt me - but unfortunately for me - no takers. I just wanted to see if there is any interest now . . . .

I now am the proud father of a 45. Still have my 40 (the orange) and my 42 (no pics as it is stored at a buddy's place).
