Security light has constant blink after new master key

I recently went to the Lexus dealership and had a new master key made for my LX470. I purchased the vehicle with only a valet key. I now have a working master key and the ability to remotely unlock the doors. The issue I am having is that the red security light on the dash blinks continuously. It blinks prior to sticking the key in the ignition, it blinks while driving the car, it blinks with the key out of the ignition. Does anyone have an idea as to what my problem might be? The Lexus tech had no recommendation. I can go low tech and paint over the light, but I was curious as to whether this was an issue that could immobilize the vehicle at some point. Does the light blink once every second, or is it blinking a code? Most likely, the system is still in Automatic Registration mode, which the tech did not know how to finish up. I don't have the procedure handy, but I think there's a thread on it.

Okay, I remember one sequence that should do it. Try turning the ignition on & off 5-6 times quickly.

If it functions like other Toyotas then try this.

Switch the key between off and on (don't crank) 5 times in quick succession. then start the car. Let us know what happens.

Any details on programming these keys? I am about to use Techstram to program 2 new master keys with my existing valet. Tia.

Thanks for the advice guys. I tried the on off in quick succession this evening, and it fixed the blinking security light issue.
