I moved the storage box from my 60 to the 80, and it fits fine. Looking forsuggestions on how to secure it. Don't want to drill holes in the floor.

Is it possible to use a rachet strap and a second bracket under the anchor point for the 3rd row seat belts? Any other ideas?

Thanks

M

Mike-This is an easy one. There are 8 threaded holes that currently secure the 3rd row seats. If you remove the bolts currently there, you can use the holes to secure your cargo box. 10 x 1.25 if I recall. Mine are countersunk into the bottom of my cargobox. See Romer's excellent FAQ section.

These are the recessed tie downs in the floor? Hmmm... I'll do some measuring and see if that would work on my set-up. I have about 7" interior height in the box, and the drawer slides on strips of Teflon, so clearance is tight. Might work if I can get the angled air drill / grinder in there. The box is 41" wide, 43" front to back.

Thanks!

Yep. Got it. I'll see if this can work. Thanks, Andrew.

mine's the same...but that's because cruiserdrew and I got our boxes from the same place :D

One tip -- make sure you cut away enough of the carpet from around the hole -- too much carpet there and it's near impossible to insert the bolts.
