**Community Alert: Please read all the way through and note how a scammer tried to get money from @wileycoyote . Unfortunately, even on mud you need to be careful in your purchases and make sure you know who you're dealing with. **

*Pending

1HDTFTE for sale. It came out of a European LHD HDJ100 with an auto trans that failed (but I also have a manual ECU). It had around 200k miles on it and ran perfect. I have a video of it running also that I can send. Can ship or can arrange for delivery between Seattle to Stockton, Stockton to Moab, or Moab to Seattle next month. $10,500.

Comes with engine accessories shown (including injection pump), and the following:
Auto ECU
Manual ECU
Immobilizer with key
engine wire harness
spill valve controller
gas pedal

Is it free? I will take it.

FTE conversion into 80 can be done relatively easy, I volunteer to install guidance too :)

If you all keep talking like this, I may have to keep it and slap it into an 80!

Unless you really need the money right now, selling a hard to get non-US Toyota diesel is probably a bad idea considering the current import environment.

These are going to get much more difficult to bring into the country economically if the tariff situation stays in place.

Y'all are making this even harder to part with!

You have all the goodies. Don’t sell. It’s gonna be hard to replace (ask me how I know).

I will agree with above. You will have a higher price in only a few months. Maybe less.

For any buyers out there better move if you have any interest in the set up.

Man, I really want this. Not sure how much work it would be to install into my 80, but for the first time in a long time, I'd probably bite the bullet.

Just to be crystal clear on this and to make sure I’m not stepping on toes: here is the conversation I have had with lcmoneypit. I’m not trying to get into a bidding war with anyone and if there was a deposit sent, it’s your engine. I received this message after I received the yes.

I want the engine but I don’t need it. If someone sent him a deposit last night please let me know. The only communication I have had has been via text and the one pm. Hopefully lcmoneypit can chime in here soon. I was making plans to do an 8-9hr drive Sunday with cash. Anyone that knows me knows if I say I’m showing up, I show up.

So I’m not playing games. I’m out. When my spidey senses tingle I have learned to trust them. Good luck to whoever you are and I hope the engine is everything he says it is.

BEWARE - SCAMMER

I tried to call you a little while ago. Those text messages are not with me. I think there's a scammer working you. The only communication I sent was a reply to your PM on mud this morning. I would not pull the BS that the scammer was trying to with you. You have my phone number from my call. My number is NOT the one you are getting texts from.
