Seat swap bracket choices question and do I need to destroy my seats to fit Disco seats?

Not a great picture, but I bolted in the feet that I cut from the donor LC seat, Then I placed the LR seat on top with my shoddy frame and just tack welded it. Removed from the vehicle and finished welding the feet on. IF you have the funds to buy a planted bracket that might be best but for my cheap ass, this worked great. I use it every day and haven't had any issues with the frame or welds. Sturdy on and off the road.

Curious how you went about the controls ? Because they’re on the LC seat but on the middle console in the Disco II Series.

This is the location where I put the controls. Pulled the center console and cut out the plastic to mount the controls. Essentially put them in the same place they were in the disco.
