Agree. I noticed the same coming from my 100 to this 200. The 200 seats seem flatter...less wrap...more sliding sideways...

I wonder if putting gx seats in the 200 is possible. I too find the seats far less comfortable than other luxury brands.
Even my 90 4Runner in college had great side support with a knob above the center console to adjust the "wings". Awesome feature!
Speaking of X5M - I had 2010 white on cinnamon red X5M before I traded it in for my 2016 LC and I can confirm that there is no comparison between the two types of seats. Day and night difference. I could drive the x5m for long trips and still feeling comfortable and can stretch my legs. The LC is a different story. The seats feel like a lazy boy chair coming short on leg support. Great for off-roading terrain and Comfortable but not on long trips or as daily driver. I am 6'3
I, too, would like more "bolster" support. My Land Rover LR4 HSE LUX had adjustable side bolsters in the seat back and more bolstering on the seat proper. That said, I also prefer as high a seating position as I can get for both off roading and interstate driving. This "command seating position" is one of the big reasons I have an LC. The other things I like is that the steering wheel can be tilted enough so that even in that high position I can still see all of the instrument panel - which was not the case with the LR4.
As for your height vs fit, I am only 5'8, but my inseam is less than 29" so I have a longer torso. My point is that not everyone who is 6'-whatever will have the same challenge when it comes to their torso length.
As for seat back tilt, years of computer work have left me with issues in my shoulders from holding/supporting my arms in a forward position. Long road trips don't help. A more upright seat back helps alleviate that as my upper arms can hang more straight down. (I also bring the steering wheel out and keep my hands low on the wheel on long drives.
The only thing impeding my fit with the LC driver's seat is my trailer brake controller. I need to find a different place to put it.

Me too. I'm 6'3" but have the torso of a 6'5' person...so my seat is as los as it will go... IK have more than enough leg room though.
I do have to say though, that after two trips of 5 and 6 thousand miles each in the last year, the LC remains THE most comfortable long-range-travelers I've ever been in. You just don't feel fatigued when you get out. My 100 beat it for seats, but the 200 beats my 100 in every other way in terms of power, ride, planted feeling and just raw muscle.
