Is there any way to tighten the tension on the seat belts? I don't want them super tight I just want them to return when removed. The back ones barely return and my kids take em off and shut em in the door and it pisses me off...

Had the same problem with my Tacoma Crewcab. Annoying as hell. There was a recall issued. Wonder if the same is true for the LC?
Clean the guide and throw the belts in the washer. There's even a little kit you can get from Toyota that adds slick tape over the guide. Works great. I did a write up on how to, it's in the 80's section FAQ.

Matt i noticed mine was horrible at retracting and the strap was somewhat flipped. Somehow it got flipped inside the panel. It took some finagling to straighten it, but as soon as i did it retracts properly now.
