Due to Mega Tax Uprises from 1.of may a lot of the HD Land Cruisers, in Germany, will be sold.

Maybe your chance to get one ?

Mobile.de

Would be nice to know that they are in good hands........ ;)

Government and Taxpeople go way far over the limit here, the econazis goin to tax these vehicles to death and it seems to work.........

Yeah the oldest one is a 1994... it'd need to be 2009 for us to import that :(

oh... I must have missread... hmmm

edit: Yup you are right... I must've tuned it out since I was looking for an HDJ-80 ;)

Hi All:

Sheesh! I'd take just about any of those 70 Series rigs!

Interesting, I believe they were all HZJs - no BJs or KZJs.

Hopefully you Canucks can rescue some of these rigs, and bring them over to North America to further torture us Yanks.

Regards,

Alan

Look at this:

HZJ74 for 27,000 US. Man I'd buy that thing in a heart beet.

HZJ74 for 27,000 US

And look, a very nice stocker Troopy for like 28,500.

I don't care if I'm a poser, I refuse to die before I own a 70 series diesel troopy.

looking for a *J75 pickup project ;)[/QUOTE ]

For a 4,2 Liter Diesel it could be more than 8 times Tax Uprise !!!
Instead of EUR 173,- it could be EUR 1578,39 from 1.of May

Thats caused by the fact that they are Taxed as a Truck right now, so you have to pay for the weight/payload. = 173 €

From 1.of may they want to tax them like passengercars by the enginevolume & emission class.
For a Diesel without a catalyt that would be 37.58€ per 100ccm = 1578,39€ a YEAR!

So actually nothing has a 100% Proof, even the Taxpeople cant tell what exactly will be happen, because Cartax is a thing of the single states in Germany......

Fact is, if they really turn to that the cruisers will be near to unsellable in Germany and will be mainly sold to foreign countrys with *Normal thinking Politicians* and a normal tax rate.

I knew that these econazis we got in our government are no good, but they really top any thinkable kind of stupidity.

So whatever you think about saving the whales, birds, ill minded politicians......never ever vote for these kind of wa++ers. Better think about saving your Land Cruiser and his worth in $$!

If you search from 1985 - 1991 you will find a boat load of LHD LJ's for dirt cheap. Not all of them are in good shape, but there are some BJ73's that would be less to buy than a CDN BJ70.

The newer 80's seem to hold up against the rust better than the older 70's.

Some nice G-Wagen's too!

holly crap!! batman.
$8000 CND for a 89 LJ70 with 209,000 km and then shipping on top of that...
i really need to up my prices if you think that is a deal
;^)
cheers

I love those translation programs :):) If your deals ever require a german-english translation, I'll be happy to help out-mistake and charge free. :)

I have looked at prices of trucks in the french and spanish alps, mostly 60 and 70 series diesels, and the prices are comparable to Canadian prices. what this german dude is asking is insane, but remember that germany is big and rich. he'll find a collector that drops that kind of money...
Also, 4 years ago the euro was almost the same as the CAN$. the current conversion rate is what you get when your currency is connected to the slipping US$...
