Seam Sealer? Door frame rust repair

What to put in the seam in the door frame? Self leveling seam sealer or something else?

What exactly is that picture of? Can you take a picture without the zoom? I'm assuming that you'll be stripping all that rust and stuff off and priming before seam sealing?

The seam in question is the where the gutter wraps around to the door frame.

Here is a pic of the area:


After a little more sanding. Having trouble getting up in the corners. How clean does it have to be? I do have some Ospho and Rust Bullet on hand.
