Since I just (yesterday) did brakes and a knuckle job on the grocery getter '97, my dad has offered to pick me up the radiator that my '93 dearly needs. I will install new hoses with the radiator.

I'm aware of the seals/gaskets that are much easier to replace with the radiator out on an F/2F motor, but I am clueless with the 1fzfe.

The truck leaks quite a bit- I've decided to knock out gaskets and seals as it is convienient. Well, having the radiator out should make a few seals convienient.

I assume the front main seal is just a matter of pulling the crank pulley and balancer, like an F or 2F. Are there any timing chain/belt/gear gaskets? (not sure which one it is with that fancy DOHC)

Anything else yall think I need to do while in there? I've done all this on the old cruiser 6's, not with an 80 though.

Thanks.

I would highly recomend looking into replacing the PS cooler. They usually rust near the connections at the bends where it passes under the radiator. If it does fail the rad has to be at least loosened from it's possition and raised a little to get it out.

My truck is mostly rust-free (lifetime GA cruiser) but I will definatly give that a look...
thanks.

Any other thoughts or am I going to have to bother Dan with the same question when i call him for this stuff? :D
