Hi, Before I replace all my plugs, I am gonna Seafoam. Reading this link How To Seafoam Your Car - LS1TECH as my guide.

So I added one can to my full tank of gas today, and I swear I felt an improvement. Anyway, going thru the searches, some people recommend sucking it in thru the PCV, some say directly putting it on carb, and others go with the brake booster.

Any final consensus on best application location???

Also, where is the throttle body to spray the Seafoam Deep Creep , as per the link.
Thanks.

p.s. Funny, back in 2005, people were bitching that gas was about to hit $2/gal. I see $4/gal coming this summer. Go big oil!!!!!!

be prepared to smoke out your neighbors if you do the PCV or direct carb. I did it in New York up in the snow. I added it, cut the engine, waited five mins, then started it. Oh my god, the whole neighborhood was smoked out, snow was black, I was just looking around like I had no idea what happened, twisting my thumbs....................

i have always done it through intake vacum but you can pour it slowly into the carb, use about a third of the can, let it sit for a few minutes off. restart and watch it smoke like crazy. repeat until can is empty. it will billow white smoke for several minutes. once the smoke clears start over. you will need to hand work the throttle to keep the engine from dying. if memory serves can states 1500 rpm or so. never added it to crankcase through pcv so no help there.

So where is the throttle body to spray the Deep Creep? Thanks

throttle body is only on fuel injection

I would use it through the PCV vacuum line. Do a search on clogged PCV vacuum line. Mine got clogged completely with carbon which doesn't allow the engine blowby to vent right.

Thanks all for the advice. Hopefully future searches will see this thread.

My final question is with the Seafoam Deep Creep. As per this link How To Seafoam Your Car - LS1TECH

it says "while the engine is sitting and soaking, with the key out of the ignition of course, get that bottle of seafoam deep creep i told you to buy.
Seafoam deep creep is to be sprayed inside your throttle body. disconnect your hose running to the throttle body so your throttle body blade is showing. get a friend to push down on your gas pedal so the throttle blade opens. if you don't have a friend at your disposal, a brick or something will do just fine to hold the gas pedal down, anything to keep the throttle blade open. again, your engine is to be OFF during all this"

Well if we don't have throttle bodies, what should I use the spray Deep Creep while letting the seafoam soak in.?

thanks

you would spray into carb. but most would just use one(seafoam) or the other i would think.
