Wow it's been way too long since I updated this thread or was active on mud, so here it goes!

This trip was roughly 7 weeks on the road, truck held up great. My girlfriend Caity and my dog Chloe were both up for the adventure.


Got a late start out of San Diego, made it to Pismo around 10pm;

Ventured into the Redwoods the next day, cool to see the massive trees in person;

Drove north up to Oregon the next day.

Oregon was epic, lots of great campsites and trails. The iOverlander app was clutch throughout the trip with last minute dispersed and traditional campsites;

Crater Lake was one of my favorite parks of the trip;

Explored some caves and found an awesome campsite on a lake, felt like summer camp from when I was a kid;

Camped near Mt Hood then traveled through Hood River and Portland on our way to Washington.

Made it to Olympic Natl park, stayed on a river for a few nights;

Visited my sister & brother in law in Seattle, nice to rest in a house. Played some guitar hero and relaxed;

Canada was unbelievable to say the least.

Started out in Whistler, camping and hiking were top notch;

Checked out the train car wreck, nice easy hike;

Took our time traveling on our way to Revelstoke and Golden;

Caity washing dishes in the river;

Met some crazy Canadians hang gliding off Mt 7 in Golden, apparently there is only about 5-7 days a year with enough visibility to fly. Got lucky to be able to watch this go down;

Golden and Revelstoke are not to be missed, camped out for a few days on this nice glacier run off river. Water was cold but we still bought some rafts for a little redneck rafting;

Took the Kicking Horse chairlift up the mountain in Golden BC for some beers;

Kept on cruising;

Made it to Banff after 10 or so days, super crowded with tourists so it wasnt our scene. Quick day trip to check out Lake Louise then headed south toward Montana;

Montana & Wyoming were awesome.

Glacier National Park was one of our favorite parks we visited. Road to the sun had always been on my list, was nice to check it off. Definitely worth doing.

Yellowstone was excellent, the wildlife, geysers and hot springs were awesome to see in person.

Chloe wasnt a fan of the bison;

Headed south toward Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons;

Found a rodeo outside Jackson Hole;

Cruised into Colorado for the last leg of our trip.
