Greetings All!

I'm currently in the middle of a major transmission/clutch/transfer-case overhaul/replacement. I'm replacing some lame conversion clutch components (for our 350 v8 conversion, done by someone else), installing a H55F 5-speed tranny, and rebuilding the transfer case (along with lots of other related stuff).

I've got the transmission and t-case out and up on a table, ready to disassemble. Unfortunately, my FSM (factory service manual) has not yet arrived from the dealership I ordered through, which brings me to the topic at-hand:

Would anyone be willing to scan the pages in the FSM related to the transfer case, or let me know where to find scans of this information? My lame Haynes manual does not even attempt to cover the transfer case, and I'm hesitant to tear into it without any literature (I don't want some ball/spring/spacer to fly across the garage and have no idea where it came from, etc.).

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thank you,

Mica

They have some of the manuals posted here Which one has the tranny stuff in it? Good look with your fixing. I'm going to start a V8 conversion (hopefully) real soon.

Cool . . . thanks for the link. I printed out the '84-'90 t-case info, but according to the manual's introduction, FJ60 is not one of the covered models, so I'm not quite sure if the t-case info is completely valid.

Does anybody else have any scans of the t-case section of the FSM for a 10/85 FJ60 with a split transfer case? Alternatively, does anyone know if the information from the FJ62 t-case will be sufficiently similar to begin tear-down?

Thanks,

Mica

I think the split case is the same in all the 60s and 70s. The FJ60 specific addendum to the FSM does not address the Tcase - so my assumption is that the 'big' FSM applies.

Cool deal. Thanks Mike.

I'll rip it apart tonight and let you know if I find anything to the contrary.
