Before somebody like junk busts my balls for not searching I understand from reading that the OBD II scanner is great if your Cruiser is 95 or newer..... Is there a code reader I can purchase for a 1994 Cruiser? If so which one--ebay sounds good..... Also checked out one christo uses but claims to be for obd II complient vehicles.......

You should be able to jumper the T1 and E1 (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) and the check engine light will blink. Each set of blinks will represent a number and then you can look up the number code in the FSM.

DISCLAIMER: I know this works with OBD I Toyota cars and trucks BUT I haven't done this to a '94 LC.

HTH

Best and cheapest way to go is an FSM and a paper clip. FSM will for the codes and paper clip to jump the necessary terminals.
