Sorry for the delay guys but I have been working late every day. Ill have those pictures posted later on this evening. To answer a few questions I crawled under the truck and no sign of rust or oil leaks.

whats the scoop on vehicles in the Houston area? do they get a lot of underbody corrosion due to proximity to the ocean?

there is an LX on the west side of town im interested in, but not sure if i should be shopping the H-town market...

thoughts?

One thing to keep in mind, a CARFAX report on a vehicle from that area may reveal that it was in or close to a flood zone due to a hurricane. I purchased a used truck from a dealer in Houston in 2006 and the carfax report revealed this, likely due to hurricane Rita in 2005.

I ran the fax on it cause I almost went down to Houston to buy it (I'm in Austin). It didn't show any flood that I saw, but everyone should confirm for himself.

If I hadn't found one locally I'd have made the trip. That's a really pretty vehicle.

Ive seen it all Carfax, records and the truck it self and by far the condition is amazing for the miles and age. I just wish if the seller was a bit negotiable on his price.
