John Smith said:Don't believe this for a minute. Not sure what market you are in but the demand in the DC Metro area should ensure that won't happen here anytime soon. The dealer closest to my office has decided they are going to run a "bidding war" for all of their FJ stock. Prospective buyers must submit the most they are willing to pay over MSRP and the dealer will sell to the highest bidders.
Mini dealers are still getting MSRP on a vehicle that has been on the market for three years relatively unchanged. Supply and demand should make sure no one will be paying below MSRP for the entire first year of production.

Since my office is within walking distance I still like to visit a few times a year just to remind them of that fact. I got quite a laugh when they told me of their plans on how they would sell the FJ Cruisers.
