C'mon out... there is no reason to hesitate... just take an extra spot when you feel the need if you are worried about the rockers. Damage is avoidable, even on low blues at Rausch...

Macneill, what all did you have to go through to get a new/repaired tc and diff?
Was up at Yankee Toys Fall Gathering on Carnage Hill and was trying to get over this hump.
Didn't seem like that big a deal. But after reading about many other 100s with front diff failure, it seems a shock load will cause the thing to break.
I can only assume that I was giving it a bit too much right foot.

Fortunately, the missus was very cool about the whole situation, but man, that was an expensive lesson...
Thanks Macneill, but I was actually asking what all you went through to fix it? Any further damage found up the driveline?
If I run my FJC, I'll probably run Green/Blues if Gary leads. I've done a couple blacks in it, but now that I'm building a trail rig, I tend to wimp out. I don't want to break my DD.![]()
