Yeah yeah.... well I neglected to mic my head bolts before I ordered valve shims, and upon discovering that 12 looked perfect and 2 were both crusty and a bit out of spec, so again I am waiting on parts.... it's all good! Well I mean the top end of the motor will be, I hope the rest of the truck is up to par 😅. It successfully drove onto a trailer and around my yard back in January, what could go wrong?
I don’t see anything wrong with that! Besides, it’s pretty much tradition at this point for you to take a head off and reinstall within 4 weeks of SAS. Can’t break tradition!

I've only had a head off prior to SAS once, #6. I think that was about a week or less before.

LS = 1 hour to have pan and head off and bent rod and piston in hand
1FZ = 1 hour to unplug wire harness connectors under manifold 🤣

Next year, no new rigs and no major mechanical work in the months before SAS! 🤥🤥🤥

This thing is almost ready for the journey.

Keeps it exciting!

Hey guys does anyone have a pull thru or back in RV space that they aren’t fully utilizing it’s size?

I got off the waitlist and I'm bringing a 39’ RV w/ slide outs from VA so we have room for my buddy and his family. After talking to Jeff @ThatKOAGuy he suggested I post here.

He has a smaller space reserved for me that I have to trade:
30 amp or 20 amp
Back in
Water and electric only no sewer
32’ max length

We need a larger back in or pull-thru

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure you skim through the posts, I know there are 50+ pages but there were offers out there to share spaces.
Good luck, maybe someone can switch with ya… I think a few ppl might have ended up with RV sites but they only have tents…

pm on the way

We have a spare small cabin that we won't be using if someone needs a space. Let me know.

I'm in blue 15 but it sounds like you're probably the same.

For the Ladies… I’ll be happy to give up my drivers seat and steering wheel to be driven around for the day.

Let me know

PS: it’s pretty easy to drive!

Right! I don't mind being the passenger princess in my own rig.

As long as it's road legal we really don't care. We aren't the "purist" crowd anyway. I don't know of one single early Cruiser on Dunlap RK3's running Regular fuel anywhere so you will be good.
