Hey Guys, still up for a run on Saturday morning? Sorry for the radio silence but, I was up in the eastern Sierra's this past week at Silver Lake. I took the RV & bike and left the cruiser at home, so I am ready for some wheelin. Wish I would have took the 80 with me up to Silver Lake. Tons of good trails over there.

For whoever interested, lets meet up at 8:00 am on Saturday morning at the Silverado Canyon Market parking lot. We can enter in at the Silverado Gate. We can hit the Main Divide at the top and take it down to the 74. My last ride on the bike, I dropped down Indian Truck Trail to Tom's Farms. I haven't run the trail all the way to the 74 but, I want to check it out on Saturday.

I've been checking the Silverado gate lately and it has always been open, even when they had high fire warning so we should be good. I will call Friday afternoon to verify.

Are we going to exit on the 74? It's a bit far (and early) for me to drive up to the North end and have to go back out that way as well. I had in my mind the trailhead would be off the 74 by Lake Elsinore. Since most people are coming from LA/OC, Silverado makes sense. What's the plan?
 
Silverado to the 74. Exit at the 74 is at Blue Jay campground. Easy, quick drop down to Lake Elsinore to the 15 from there to head back south.
 
Is the meet up time flexible? It may be a challenge for me to get there by 8. Again, do what's best for the majority but I wanted to at least ask.

Talked to another mudder "ADV80". He did that exact route a couple of weeks ago. trying to get him to go too.

They used to sell some adventure maps of the area at the Silverado store where we are meeting

Its tax season so my wife is working all day Sat. I should be good to go. Not sure my exhaust will be done by then but...heck I'll carry more water :flipoff2:

You can add me to the list. I'm in OC with my 80 for the rest of August and it has traveled over 1500 miles since it last had dirt under the tires.
 
anyone in OC or going through OC want to meet up? I'm in Santa Ana, fairly close to the 405 Freeway off Bristol street.

Adventure passes still needed for Cleveland NF? I know there have been court cases that have struck them down, but don't know if the ruling if final or not!
 
It looks like I won't be getting new AT tires by this weekend. Just wanted to confirm street tires will be ok.
