Selling my 1988 FJ62, 161K miles. Mechanically everything has been done, including:
New water Pump, radiator, fan, hoses ($1,200)
New heater hoses - new hoses throughout ($200)
Original used MAF and new wiring ($650)
New Exhaust system - muffler, custom tailpipe, etc. ($600)
New sound system and electric antennae ($1680)
New upholstery, headliner, carpet (dark grey) ($4,300)
Used lower panel (gutter) trim ($400)
Used original windshield trim ($600) - not installed
New windshield and rubber ($600)
New tailgate lifts ($75)
Total (Parts and labor): $10,305

Runs perfectly, transmission and transfer case excellent. Needs a touch of body work - lower RH panel spot - and paint. Could also just paint hood and front quarter panels as the rest if fine. This is registered in Nevada, where I have a residence, and is currently in Los Angeles (Santa Clarita).

This is a great running, classic FJ62 - with paint it would be stunning.

Just posted today. The reason I am selling it is that I bought the brown one in my profile picture - 49K original miles, 1976, like new. This is a good FJ62 and I have done probably way too much on it, but that's how it goes. It is registered in Nevada (no smog) but is currently at my place in Santa Clarita, CA

No, I have it registered in Nevada where I have a residence. You would have to get the smog parts and install and it will pass.

It is all done - rebuilt enging, new upholstery and carpet, new cooling system, new exhaust system, body and paint (original 045 white), new chrome trim, wheels, tires, brakes, you name it. Here's are some photos.

Yes we love it here now - we are building a small farm on old Newhall. Moved here in '71 and then moved back only three years ago. Restoring my mother's 100 year old house. I will put this on bringatrailer - it shouldget $60 - $65,000.

Very nice! I lived right near Old Newhall for a bit, near Vista Valencia Golf course. Good luck with the farm!
