Thanks. I just vomited in my Cheerios.

I think you all have some very valid points. I am trying not to be too picky with color as my "must haves" are already limiting my search quite a bit. White is a neutral color for me. I don't love it and I don't hate it, so the question was geared towards how picky can one person be. I've already ruled out other colors that would be a deal breaker. So finding one that checks ALL of the required boxes other than favorite color will have to do for now.

If you don't like white...send me the info :).

BTW, this thread is worthless without pics!

Here you go. The pictures that is, I'm keeping the contact info for me :).

Very nice! My only word of caution....those fender flares are either port installed or done at the dealer. If you try to remove them there will probably be large scratch marks deep into the paint where they sit against the metal.

Unfortunately I found that out the hard way a few years back.

Maybe I really do need more than one LC, after all!

Seriously, that’s a nice looking truck! I don’t even mind the flares!

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with my decision but I still haven't touched it yet so there is some nervousness involved. I'm still undecided on the flares. i will have to wait and see it in person. At least with white, any touch up to the scratches should be a lot easier than the other colors.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on a dark colored LC, I'm sure a bunch will pop up once I get this one home.

First off, thanks again for all of the guidance. Now that I see it in person, I’m sure I will be happy with the white. I actually think the two-tone look with the flares helps.

With that, I am 525 miles in on my 1600 mile drive home. My father decided to be my copilot so I’ve been checking things out when he is driving. Mechanically, the truck is in excellent shape. After the first two fill ups, I averaged 15.98 and 16.20 mpg’s. That’s with doing 75 to 80 when traffic allows.

There are some minor things I need to address once I’m home. All of which I can easily live with considering the price and overall condition of the truck.
1) Clogged AC drain (I hope) is letting a bit of water drip on passenger feet.
2) DVD changer in armrest isn't working, it will not eject the magazine.
3) deep clean interior, have professional do it.
4) replace rear carpet or find good floor mats to cover spilled bleach spot
5) try to buff scuff on right side of front bumper.
6) grease the driveshaft as it has the typical clunk. (Hopefully that’s the fix)
7) install a brake controller
8) get some new tires as these don’t have a lot of life left. And there goes the 16 mpg’s. :bang:
9) get a second key
10) Replace pads before towing camper as PPI stated that brakes are at 30% or so.
11) replace the speakers, left front door speaker is not having its best day

Otherwise, I’m very happy with it so far. The seats are still super comfy, all leather is intact, and everything else works as it should. No leaks or drips (other than water by pax feet), zero rust anywhere, and it drives really smooth.

Believe it or not, I purchased it from the original female owner who is now unable to drive due to her age and health. Currently has 130k miles on it with the major stuff being done at 106k at the same dealer it was purchased from.
