:D

SoCal 80's was set up and started here in the OC. We've got a lot of great contributors from the SD area. Good to see another area specific section. Woody is fantastic in his support of member sections like this!

Ok, ok, ok, it's Friday and I'm tired.

Yeah I remember how SC80s started - Slomo didnt have a FJ40 series  ...and as they say the rest was history!

Mo -

Oh yeah - and we almost had a mandatory Afrika Korp insignia on our front door panels!

Thank you but don't forget that Tare was the one who convinced Woody that we should have an area here on Mud. I think it is very good of Woody to support groups such ours and all the others.

That was a close call on the logo.

That is cool for all the SD guys. I hope they don't all desert and never pop up here anymore.

It was time.....
Some of the misfits and red headed bastard stepchildren who drive 40's needed there own special place. :flipoff2:.

ah, tha's why the section is moving all the time...

well, I think one should keep a large area coverage on one section at least for bigger exposure of runs etc.

Yeah but . . . SoCal80's is open to everyone, not just 80's (or Land Cruisers for that matter).

:meh:

UGH,,,, R U telling me I have to go through the whole build-up again???? Just when we had a nice group of people and a nice assortment of thread we go and break-up the band!
Now I have to monitor another freakin' section. I am a Crampy Camper. :frown:

You got it easy Blue! Lots of Cruiserheads all around you especially with modded 80s. I live up N of LA Co and it seems Im the only 80 Mudder here.

I like this quote from the SD Cruiser forum:

I'm looking forward to joint-ventures with the SoCal80's crew
Ed

something again:confused:

I think I may have missed something as well. I think I might still have to hang out on the SoCal board and crash some or your trail runs though. :D

Lot of boards to track: National 80's section, SoCal 80's, SD 80's, TTORA National board and TTORA SoCal....I need a secretary.

In a nutshell (from the best I gathered):
A bunch of 40 owners from the San Diego area coming together  to form SD Cruisers. Brent saw the new listing in the Clubhouse area - used and spelled incorrectly "seceded". But in fact nobody from SC80s seceded at all from what I know.

Now SD 80 owners are thinking - $5+/gallon to travel North for a SC80 meet and greet plus a bunch of JAFW80s = screw that! Im going local! :D J/K.

Yes I did have time to kill during my 12hr shift to read all this s***! :hillbilly:

 Wow - turn a positve nice statement, tongue in cheek, into something it wasn't meant to be. Jeez. It's nice to see the regional flavor and that was the intent. Can't take a little fun?
