Asking $22,000, but I honestly don’t know how to price this thing. The main selling point is that it has the TRD supercharger, but that’s probably only important to Californians who would need to stay smog-legal. But I figured I’d list it here before going local, because I’d rather deal with an enthusiast here who actually knows the vehicle and will be motivated to take care of it. I’ve seen prices all over the map, and had trouble finding examples with the supercharger, so don’t have data go on. At some price point it will be worth it just to keep it (I could never own an 80 again without the supercharger), but figured I’d at least try to find it a home first so it doesn’t just sit unused.

Pros:
- TRD supercharger (all stickers, etc. to pass CA smog, just got a new certificate)
- Factory locking front and rear differentials
- Rebuilt transmission still under warranty
- New front seat leather (have some other misc pieces I haven’t yet installed)
- New drive shafts
- AC parts all newish except for the evaporator
- Newish gas tank
- Newish muffler

Cons:
- Mostly maintained by me for 20+ years.
- It’s going to need paint soon. No rust yet, but can see spots where it could start. If I kept it, I’d at least do the hood soon.
- There’s surface rust on the under-side. It’s lived in California it’s whole life, but neglected by me often after off-roading. Nothing rusting through, but if I kept it I’d do some sort of undercoat soon to keep that from happening in the future.
- Rear control arm bushings are going to need to be replaced. There’s still some meat there and I’ve just been driving it an off-roading it as-is, but you can see external cracking, so it’s next on my to-do list.

Details:
- 189,500 miles
- 2” OME lift (will need shocks at some point)
- 285/75-16 (33” x 11.5”) BFG ATs with a good amount of tread left
- ARB bull-bar shows some graying, but otherwise solid
- Other than that mostly just stock
- I believe it’s been in Southern California its whole life

I obviously didn’t try to clean it or detail it before taking these pics, but figured these would be more honest about the condition.

I don’t know what more to say, but feel free to contact with any questions.

That seems like a great deal to me. The market kind of stinks right now, but your truck hits all of the main 80 series buyer wants - Lockers, good colors, relatively low mileage, CA solid, and most of all the supercharger.

Sold yet? I’m in Bankers Hill San Diego and would like to check it out. If it passes smog I’m a buyer
Smog certificate still good for the next 30 days or so. Still trying to find it a new home in California to take advantage of the CARB-certified supercharger, but also because I already wasted the money and time to get a new smog cert just to sell it. Figure if it doesn't sell by the time the smog cert expires, it's a sign from the heavens that I really need two Land Cruisers, and it's ordained that I keep this one.

PM me if interested to check it out.

Good morning. My messages are full and I am unable to delete them. Can you message me to schedule a time to come see the truck? (619)540-8847 my name is Junior. Thanks

Just got back from seeing this 80 in person and am trying to talk myself into needing it.

Drives like a dream, steering is tight and everything functions as it should, acceleration is amazing for an 80 on 33s.

2 things for me cause I’m picky, if it was Toyota branded and in better cosmetic shape I would have handed over the cash.

Going to price some replacement door seals and see what a painting it would cost and make a decision.

For anyone that is looking for an off-road car and doesn’t care as much about the exterior paint/condition this truck is worth every penny!

Seller is legit and as honest as they get! If I let this one slip away I’m sure I’ll regret it.

Might want to mention the rust from the sunroof leaking into the passenger A-Pillar if you are giving the group an assessment. Either way, nice rig. I saw it as well.

Yes, seller did show that to me. Failed to mention it here.

Truck is a good buy to someone looking for something to wheel and not cosmetic perfection.
