My '01 has 'em behind the bumper, look for yellow insulation on the cable going to them.

I thought there were two airbag sensors behind the bumper. I guess I was wrong.

Any aftermarket bumper will work with factory airbag system... ARB just crash tested their bumpers and other alternatives or smaller companies usually don't have a budget to crash test rate theirs. Any front bumper will work fine with the factory though... Slee, TJM, BIO, ARB whatever... Not sure why so many people think ARB is the only bumper that works with airbags...

I recently bought a used sahara bumper and am going through tall the parts to make sure I have everything. I don't have the tube packers that are supposed to be installed in the chassis arm. Do you remember what it looks like so that I can find something similar at the hardware store?? It looks to me like its just a rubber hose.

On the instructions I printed off, it is step 2 in the assembly sequence.

Thanks.

I just answered your pm. Now I am questioning myself.... Are the tube packers the flat things or the round things. Lemme look when I get home.

He is referring to the tube sleeve that goes inside the frame rails to prevent the frame from collapsing when you tighten down the bolt that runs all the way through the frame.

I was just talking to him and he picked up some pipe that will work fine.

3D, Layton is right. I did find something that I think is going to get the job done. I would think the frame itself would be strong enough but a little reassurance never hurts.

Thanks guys for the assistance. Hope to get it installed tomorrow.
