Sad Day

I don't post here very often, but you may have seen the report on WYFF about Jeff Papenfus of Greenville. He tragically died as a result of a Mtn Bike crash on Saturday. I was slated to be on that training ride with him and another partner of ours preparing for an upcoming adventure race. Although not a LC topic - he was a great guy and loved the trails. His wife needs all the prayers that this group is known for.

Also to add to this extremely depressing subject, but a Firefighter in Asheville that I worked with on and off for a year died in a fire at a medical office building. I attended the memorial service tonight and had firefighters police and rescue workers from as far away as Charleston SC. Sad...
