rust repair near NYC (1 Viewer)

Hi to all.

my 62 always has some undercarriage rust issues since I got it back in 2021. rusted fender bottom, rusted wheel arch wells..

looking for a good place to repair it near NYC and preferred Westchester ( north of NYC) ..

I called many "so called" good body shops and they all dont even want to touch mental works...

Modern body shops deal mostly in collision repair, replacement parts, ins claims. That stuff is in and out quickly. You may be better of calling a custom hot rod shop, a restoration shop or someone who has a paint booth that paints the entire vehicle.

Guys, I can recommend a shop out on LI that is fully insured and handles small repairs for any car (rust repair that is) I can cut and patch just about any hole but it ain't gonna be pretty, lol. Still honing my sheet metal welding skills.
