Rust. Does this kill the deal?

I'm looking at buying a 2007 LX470 with 100K miles from New Jersey (rust state). The seller has provided the following photos. I'm from a rust free state, so I don't know what I might be getting in too. Looks like seller tried to 'paint over' to hide some. Is this amount of rust a deal killer?

Definitely looks painted over, but that doesn't appear that bad, but if you're in a rust free area and plan to keep the vehicle a long time I would move on. Just not worth the hassle of having premature failure on parts. Also, since it's an LX it means it has AHC and AHC is more rust prone than other parts of the undercarriage.
 
First picture shows the transmission cossmember splitting form the rot invasion. That would need to be replaced, or at least taken off, cleaned up and re-welded. Where it attaches to the frame needs to be inspected as well... common rust through area... Last image shows the right rear shock all rusted apart, so expect to replace those. I would want to see the rear crossmember that runs above the spare tire carrier, both ends were it meets the frame. Also, pictures of the front without the skid plate...
 
what rust free state are you locatied?

I would think limiting your search to there/surrounding states might yeild better results.

This. Leaving a rust-free state to buy a truck in a rust state is like my college room mate leaving campus to hit on townies at the local billiars hall. W'ere already surrounded by 9s, why are you going out of your way for a 4?

Im looking for very low mileage. Hard to find in lx470s as they are all at least 18 years old. This one has 100k.

Why the priority specifically for low mileage?

The following is only my opinion, having owned 4 100s at this point.

Low mileage is nowhere near as important as a clean, solid, rust free truck. A rust free, well maintained 200k mile vehicle is way way more marketable than a rust bucket with 50k on it. Additionally, a well maintained truck with higher miles has likely had more maintenance done than a lower mileage truck. 80-100k, nobody has done any bushings yet, maybe they've done timing. 150k truck owned by an enthusiast, it's all been done.

I think low mileage is an ineffective hang up when shopping for these trucks. You'll overlook a ton of great options only prioritizing miles. And you don't have to step foot in to Jersey, which is obviously a plus.

I asked the dealership for the specific photos your requested. They basically told me to go f**k myself and look for a ca elsewhere. So I guess rust did kill the deal afterall.
 
Hard to tell from pics as it's so low resolution. But not anything I see red flag without seeing in person.

If I was a in a rust free state I'd be slabbing rust prevention solution every year like he did. You should check the body like the wheel fenders and the rear trunk.

If the Muffler and exhaust pipes are in good condition then it likely was taken good cared of. You can't really just paint over the exhaust system.

Check the structural joint areas that are critical and see how well the weld joints are.
