Long story short. Driving down a very busy road minding my own biz, next thing you know a spare tire is rolling at me. Right away I snap into evasive maneuver mode, but I can't move away enough without hitting another car, so I end up getting hit by the tire in the front part of the bumper and of course I drive over it. So my bumper is history, also the grill, lights and hood seemed to have shifted a little. GREAT! Anyway, I can take it to get fixed anywhere I want, would you guys only have the dealer fix it, or would you be happy with a good body shop. My concern is that the dealer will use OEM as where the body shop might not??

You should be able to specify OEM wherever you go. I would also use the money to replace the bumper with an ARB. People have hit deer on the highway at full speed and received no damage and you probably would have been ok here.

X2 on the bumper upgrade but if you want a stock one, I am about to have one available:)

Its a sign from the mod gods that its time for a TJM, ARB, or Slee bumper!

Get the ARBor other aftermarket bumper...even if you do not want it. I am sure someone would buy it from you and trade there stock bumper for it.

I recreated this scene the best I could by rolling a tire out of my monster trailer into the neighbor's car in the driveway.

This study shows that the lack of an ARB bumper causes the vehicle to sustain damage.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that I may incriminate myself...

Yep, going with the ARB. Unfortunately, I think my rig will be sitting in the shop for a while waiting it's turn to get fixed.

update

So, my Rig is getting repaired with OEM parts only, I was worried they would use some crappy parts, buut it seems they can only find Lexus parts for me!!!!
