I was just out there for TDS, damn!! I don't want to go again so soon but I just can't resist going with this group of people.

Scott, Stan and Brent, I'm up for a caravan. I can get out of work at 2:30 - 3:00 on Friday, if you want to leave then. Otherwise it's butt crack dawn. Let me know! If we go Friday we could still camp in Sheep's, I love driving Coyote at night!

What should I bring for dinner???

I did Sandstone again last weekend. Scott we pretty much went to the end last time. We got to the spot where you and I turned around and got out to look. The trail does keep going but it's only maybe another 1/2 to 1 mile more trail and that's it.

The flowers on the ground were going crazy last weekend but the ocatillo's weren't. They should be blooming this weekend. It was sooo damn green out there. It was amazing. We went up sheeps canyon on Friday Got there about 4:00. There was no one there.

Something goodI've learned that just about anything grilled goes over well; carne asada, pollo asada, adobada, sausages, etc.

Too funny I just thought about that! I'm totally in for assisting with a big breakfast. I make a pretty mean skillet of saugage, eggs, and hash browns O'Brien

Let do the Friday night deal. If we leave right after I get off from work, 2:30 -3:00, we could be at the trailhead by 6:00 or so. It will only take about an hour to drive up, we could be at camp by 7:00ish. I thought I had your number, but I've changed phones, and I don't see it. I'm going to the Lakers/Clippers game Friday night so I'll see you guys Saturday morning.

If for some reason you guys decide to camp somewhere besides Sheep Canyon, please give me a call in case I decide to shoot up there after the game.

FYI- Saturday morning, if you guys don't need gas, then you can make a left in the orange groves at Henderson Canyon Road and follow it out to the S22. It will drop you off right at the last big bend just southwest of Clark Dry Lake. Then it's a straight shot to the Truckhaven meeting area.


Brent: Since there will a nice hungry group I think two cobblers will work. I'll be doing an apple. I have been experimenting with apertif's and it's pretty good. Definitely not a boy scout cobbler.

I mean I'm available for a friday night caravan....... But I would probably be available until maybe 4 pm...... I have a cable install coming to my place friday am and i have to replace the water pump on my truck before i go... But I think I can make that work!!!



I'll bring the PACIFICOS and I will bring some Carne Asada... for dinner on sat maybe some chicken........ For breakfast some potatoe, egg and cheese burritos sound good-

I think he's referring to the offer I made of meeting at the Calcite Mine trailhead. I said we could meet him as well as anyone else heading that direction there so they weren't forced to backtrack. You know, like I did when we all met at Kevin's for Baja, just to turn back around and drive right by my house.

I would still be happy to meet you guys at the gas station or even the corner of digiorgio(?) rd. Then we just head out to meet Scott about 15-20 minutes later at the Calcite Mine trailhead.
