Alright...put me down as a maybe on the day run. This would be my first time out with you guys.

The one thing that is going to hold me back is we are leaving on a 2week vacation the following weekend and the wife might have me preparring for that.

Hey Steve, I may be able to work out a DAY run that Saturday.

BTW: the gas station is XL-Gas (IIRC).

UPDATE: I just got my rear third member in tonight as well as my rear axles. All I've got left is to lube and install my rear driveshaft and fill the axle with oil:bounce:

First off, LUCKY!!!
Second, that pic is almost perfectly centered and if you look at the lug nuts you kinda get dizzzzy.

Steve, are you preparing for bigger meats? Or applying some extra insurance?

No luck, I've still got to pay for it all;)

A little of both I guess. I think I will be running 37"s before long and I at least like to think that I'm on the extreme side of wheeling an 80:D

Nice. IMO, the Slee 6" is well suited for 37's. I know folks were telling you not to run 37's, but times have changed.

TAZ's rig has the Slee 6 w/ 37's, and it looks well balanced.

I'm about 80% sure i can make it. Waiting on parts from CDAN. Parts will be here on wednesday. I'll have thursday and friday to fix the truck.

Aside from that I have 2 friends who are down to go for sure. One of them have a jeep.

Just did teh pre-run inspection and i have a leakng water pump & my alternater started to whine!!!! man... good thing is i still have a week....

Hey Guys

There is another group from another board heading out there on the 8th and the 9th to do some spring flower viewing. I am going to be doing a day run of it on Sunday AM with the misses and some other "Stock" folks.

Hope to meet up with ya!

Well, I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. I will hopefully get everything back together this weekend or the following week. I am having withdrawls and want to get out. Nothing too extreme. I'll have the new gears and think I'm supposed to be easy on them for a while. Maybe Coyote overnight or something? Just about anything in SD would be great; day run, overnight...

Stan asked me to go on this run and I'm in but have a few questions.

If you guys plan to do Truckhaven is meeting at the XL a good idea for everyone? It seems like a bit of back tracking unless we are all coming from the West?

Coming in Saturday afternoon, more than likely the Sheep primitive spots will be taken. Anyone bringing a fire container so we can set up our own campsite? I'll bring wood.

Are we pot-lucking are going solo for Saturday night eats? 619Toy you mentioned cobbler, who's making it?

Plans for a Sunday run?

6-8 weeks ago Cmajrfan (Braden) his friend Nick and I did Fish Creek/Sandstone. We went back two miles further than I have ever been before. We were so far back our elevation gain allowed to see back towards Split Mountain Road. The whole canyon has been transformed by the past few large storms.

So any other ideas for Sunday. Diablo "not a dropoff" and the Arroyo Tapiado Mud Caves would fun?

That's just where we all met up the last time we did this run so I didn't know it would be inconvenient for anyone. Nothing is set in stone.

I have no fire container:frown:

Why you are of course:D

Actually, I can as I have a larger oven. Perhaps with a little assistance:D

I definately vote for potluck.
