I would love to hit up the wagon run but don't think I can get out any earlier unfortunately.
Mailed off the App. today Now all I have to do is get the 40 done !!! Fine Splines, power steering, new seats, springs, oh yea and cut and trim everything thats could get smashed. See ya there
OK, I've been reading and searching for a few hours now and have yet to find a detailed description of how this event plays out. Sadly, the TLCA website seems to be the least informative of all.
Once you've paid your registration, do you then need to decide which organized run suits you, and pay accordingly? I would love to make this run and even passed on CM this year in hopes of making it. Hopefully someone can provide a simple description of how this event plays out.It seems as if groups leave at different times and ultimately meet back up at certain points.
Obviously, I would like make the run with similar vehicles and with driver's of similar experience levels if possible. I also have 2 dogs that I bring everywhere. They can be a little wild (read entertaining) because they are young but they're always well received.
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated
EDIT: Is it safe to assume that leaving earlier merely allows more time for sight seeing and camping before everyone meets up on Friday? I think I'm piecing it together but I still think it would be great for anyone (like me) that hasn't been to Rubithon before if the overall itinererary were better defined in the first post![]()
Is there a motel right there? daughter wants to slerp in a bed and take a shower before hitting the trail for 5 days.
x2 - I have no rear axle under my rig. I got lots of wrenching and welding to get it ready. Good news is we have a few months.
I'll enjoy having you join me for the Run Straight trough to the Springs, Its kind of a Fast pace, Not much Sightseeing, We do Stop on occasion and let the Riders out for Pic's and Bathroom breaks, Lunch is Usally at Little Sluce or Buck Island Depends on the Trail and the People,
