Love the video, further instilled my decision to try to locate a set of 345's (anybody know where I can get 5?, backordered everywhere I look with no eta) Also confirmed my thoughts that the Rubicon will not be tackled alone.

Yeah that's the only problem with 345s..sounds like they are hard to find. Let me know if you have any luck since I'm probably due for a new set sometime soon. I like my 5:29s but if I did it again I would probably go 4:88s and then get TC gears, especially with a 2UZ transplant in the future. As for the Rubicon...definitely don't go alone for your first time. I wouldn't even do it alone my second time. Wait a year and do Rubithon 2016. Great first time experience (key is good experience for the wife too!). Mine was hesitant to go at first but had so much fun she actually asked me if we could go again this year. We agreed it was more fun than our other summer trip (10 days in Puerto Vallarta).

Official response from Michelin today regarding the KM2 in the 345 flavor... 0 stock 0 production 0 preproduction, they have pulled the mold, and discontinued the tire in that size. SUCKS! I've spent half the day trying to sort out what to do and am leaning towards the biggest 315 I can find since buying wheels is adding an additional 1200 plus to the deal.

Either my wife and I or my grandson and his girlfriend will be wheeling those dates so when the dates get closer we will email you. You can expect some damage as the tree &rock at big sluice is a tight squeeze. The pics are from last years jeepers jamboree. The last pic is a fool that was 2 rigs in front of us on big sluice, you can see the problem tree in the background to the left.

Thanks for the pics, yes please do keep in touch and if we can plan something it would be great. I'm going to keep the schedule pretty open and will plan on doing some lighter trails if nothing else. I'm ok with adding some additional character to the quarters. Not that I'll go looking for it but its a 20 year old truck... and I use it as intended regularly.
