I tried to post this earlier, so if you see it somewhere weird, it was just me spazzing out. I found some rubber bumpers that work for the pads on the hood adjusters of my 1986 FJ60. I got them at O'Reilly's Auto Parts. It is a Dorman product: 1/2" X 7/8" Rubber Bumpers part #961-377. Four bumpers for less than $2.00. They are a little smaller than OEM but they work.
