RTH engine back together. Starts but wont stay running

It is all back together finally. The problem is that when I start it I have to feather the gas pedal just to get about 1-2 seconds of run time(and it sounds pretty rough). I didnt pull the distributer out. Could the timing still be effected? Is there something else that could cause this? I know im getting fuel and spark. It either sounds like a timing problem or maybe my vacuum lines are all jacked up. I will try to go over them one at a time again to see whats what. Any ideas?

Sorry guys, please disregard my last post. Anyone want to ask me how a 3FE runs w/out the air flow meter plugged in. She runs like a champ now that it is plugged in. Thanks for all of the help along the way. I will post pictures soon.
