So got the outer CV out of the knuckle but still unable to pry the inner CV from the diff housing I'm afraid I might crack it. Any suggestions on this ?..I tried rotation as well

Try prying on two opposite sides at once. Sometimes if it’s just one side the uneven force and resulting rocking motion causes it to jam.

Use a brass punch and hammer on inner grove of cv axle.

Long shot, but if you happen to have a bearing separator plate...

I used this as a collar around the inner CV, which made for a nice flat surface to pry against and the it came right out.
