OK, we're committing to have the Roundup again next year and we're having it at the new Katemcy Rocks facility. 
We need volunteers to put this thing together and make it as smooth and successful as our previous events. Either post up here or contact me directly if you can help. Here's what I think we need. Feel free to make suggestions.
Event chairperson. This person is the main decision maker and primary worrier. The volunteers below will do most of the legwork, but this needs to be someone who will be available during the event and will be relatively sober enough to make decisions and handle any crises that come up. He/she will make sure that the events for the Friday party get started on time and will make announcements on the PA as necessary.
Raffle coordinator. This person will beat the bushes and get us all the cool stuff we give away at our event. We'll have a phone list of companies/people that donated in the past so there will be a starting point to use.
Kids raffle coordinator. Could be the same person, but we need to get kids prizes together.
Registration coordinator. This probably needs to be a sub-committee. Get the promotional material put together, get the ad in the Trails, and be the contact person for registration questions. Send out any packets, or confirmation emails prior to the event, and put together the registration packets for the event itself. Will also coordinate the volunteers that will work the registration desk.
Trail boss. This is obviously a new property so no one knows the layout of it yet. Shain and Randy will surely lead folks around, but it would be good for at least one of us to know the place somewhat. The catch is that they don’t open until the end of February. So this person will need to be able to make at least one pre-run to the property to check things out.
