Driving into work today i noticed when i come to a stop light my truck was idling rough..well atleast that is the only way i can describe it. My RPM's don't change at all so i am at a lost. It almost feels like she wants to putter or stall but she isn't. Any ideas? Could it be a vacuum problem or a clogged air filter?

Yep. Or a clogged fuel filter, or clogged idle passageways in your carb.

Could also be that the EGR valve is sticking open. They get clogged with carbon, then stick open intermittently (should be closed at idle). Acts like a pretty big vacuum leak to an idling engine. The valve itself (not the rubber actuating diaphragm) can be cleaned with carb cleaner.

Where is this EGR valve located at?
