It's explained it the first ROTW, but long story short the piece of crap MileMarker wouldn't fit good the other way. It actually works better like that, gives a better approach angle.

Your headers are on the PS, his and mine and everyone else with a 3FE/2F/F has the headers on the DS, which is where the gastank is, and that is why it goes over the rear X-Case flange.

They are cheap junk, I've put two brake assemblies in it and have only used it 5 times (lightly).

The Flo40 knock-off looks great. It is completely out of the way. And no cats! You couldn't drag anything if you wanted too.

It stops working...
I seem to have only one speed working on mine, which Im thankful for as I has some serious sh1t to winch out of last month, just wondering if what you mention has anything to do with it. Tks

Not sure but it's easy to check, just take the motor off and pull out the brake and drive shaft assembly.
