Very nice setup...looks great!

questions:

1) did you go with the OME shocks as well? With the OME heavy's (all 4 coils I presume) and your added weight, whats your opinion on the ride quality compared to stock? Would you do something different with your particular setup?

2) Noticed you keep the tow-ball hooked up. Whats the heaviest thing you've towed with that 4x4 labs bumper?

Again, great looking rig.

How much did the rear bumper cost you?

I am thinking it was about $2,000 with shipping.

You might want to contact Luke Porter at http://www.4x4labs.com/ or 1 (530) 477 - 0140.

Let me know if you want more information.

I have OME shocks on the truck. I think it does OK in the ride department. I have some pretty aggressive tires on it and it is not a super smooth cushioned sort of ride. I only had the stock type shocks and springs on for one day, so I am not a good judge of what the original ones felt like.

I have done little towing with the vehicle and just happened to have the hitch on. The heaviest that I have towed is about 1,200 pounds. I think that the bumper would be capable of towing much more than I would feel comfortable driving with.

Regards,

Richard

Sweet rig!!!! That mini mac setup it cool. I have seen it in some other types of cars but seeing it in a cruiser is that much better.

I have MacGPS Pro and for some reason, I had difficulties. Initially, it did ok then it would just show the GPS coordinates, but no map. I will try their tech support again and see if it can be straightened out. I may try the GPSy ProX, which is in the beta version.

Are you using the newest MacGPS Pro version (6.1). It is the best software out there for a mac and GPS interface. I have had absolutely awful luck w/GPSy, both the software and support. Their attitude was "gee, sorry the product doesn't do anything it is advertised to do, it has some bugs right now. We'll let you know when they are worked out."

Let me know what you are trying to do w/ GPS Pro and I can try to help you out. If you haven't upgraded to the newest version you have to give it a try. It can now stitch maps together, show them borderless, has an auto open and is now able to work almost completely via a mouse/touchscreen.

Cheers
Ross

It was originally that faggy white color that Toyota had and I repainted it so that people wouldn't question my sexual orientation.

Not really, but I had to say something.:D

True. Richard has built a rig that has all the right stuff and I would be proud to own that one. Richard, send me your address so I can have my friend Guido pay your truck a visit some night. :D
