Very nice rig TEX. Why the change from more hard core wheeling to expo?

I don't know I guess I get bored of the same old trails over and over again and if I'm several hundred or thousand miles from home then I tend to be more carefull. But secretly I do like to get a few wheels off the ground now and then ;)

very cool rig. What do limb riser cables do?

The cables push tree limbs up and over the hood, windsheild, and roofrack.

I've seen your rig in other threads and it stands out. Nicely done.

Very nice! Love the "liberal" bumper sticker on your rear bumper. I need to find one of those. ;-)
Great build up. DO you have pics of how you integrated the receiver into the crossmember?

Not the best I though I had some on here but cant find them.

Mighty fine!

My great -grandpaw was a Texas Ranger, Big Jim Reed, had a large heard of mules and moved to MS to farm the prison land when he retired. Now I see the Texaslawman's rig and I enjoy seeing your build history and how well you have utilized your rig. I am still holding in the stock form at this point but really like several of the build principles of your rig. I wish I could take the plunge and use mine that way but it's still pristine. Keep on enjoying it and thanks for sharing your enjoyment with us,

That is a great looking truck and I think the paint job was a great investment!

Thanks guys!!! Great story geologic!!!!

Here is an update I removed my cats and I put some small flood lights around the roof rack lighs up the whole area very well pics later!!

Ok got a straight pipe in place of the cats now. I cant tell a difference in sound. Maybe because after the awfull sound with no muffler and its hard to hear over the M/T tires. The truck feels a bit more peppy. Here is the average of 4 runs with and with out stock cats.

Ill post up MPG later. No cel code yet engine running smooth. Thinking of returning the cat when it comes and running a 3" cat and exhaust with downy headers.

A little update after 5 years running with no cats she finally failed inspection for the first time this year. One high flow cat added and shes back to passing with very low emissions. Alternator went out this year replaced with toyota. A/C went out 2010 replace with all toyota parts. The roll on paint is still holding up after all these years but I have added some camo. I finally retired her from my daily driver just this year replaced with a 2005 land cruiser. Now I use her mostly for night time hog hunting all interior lights have been blacked out, brake lights can be disabled, and IR lights have been added for those extremely dark nights or heavy tree canopy areas. But over all she is still running strong!

Here are a few current pics.

Nice build, great pics too!
